Time - A reality or an illusion. | How do humans perceive time

We live in a world where everything around us is scheduled, right from getting up in the morning to falling asleep at night everything we do is somehow dependent on time. We can barely imagine a day without time but have you ever wondered what time is and how it became such an inseparable part of our lives. This post is all about time and our perception of time.

What is Time?

Time is a quantity that we use to study and understand various concepts of the universe. It is used as a reference in our lives to identify and record events that are occurring every day around us. Time is defined as the indefinite continued progress of existence and events in the past, present, and future regarded as a whole. We use the time to represent changes that occur in nature as a series of events. Some even symbolize the time as a flowing river which never stops.

The  History of Time measurement

Ever since man has noticed the regular movement of the sun and moon, we have wondered about the flow of time. It is considered that we started measuring time about 30,000 years ago by looking at the sun moon and the stars. During the earlier days, man kept a note of time by looking at the lunar circles and the length of days using sundials after which he realized that the length of the day varies with seasons and came to a conclusion that the Earth's orbit is not circular but elliptical.

What are our final thoughts on time?

Time is a valuable resource that keeps our world running smoothly, a dimension that puts constraints and makes things certain for us and helps our brains organize things. It is a dimension that we use as a reference to all the events that we have around us which would've been impossible in any other situation. Time is something that exists only for the one who counts it for the rest its just a quantity which is inexistant.

Could humans fly if we had wings : Understanding the science behind how birds fly and can humans do it too??

I think every person on this planet would have been fascinated by seeing birds fly and would've dreamt of being able to fly high in the air, at  least in their childhood. Today we are going to look at all this topic and we shall find if we could ever give wings to our dreams. For understanding this we need to look at how birds and insects fly. Photo by  insung yoon  on  Unsplash How do birds fly with wings? Photo by  Raul Cacho Oses  on  Unsplash Birds are capable of flying because of the evolutionary capabilities that they have attained. Birds have their fore-arms developed into wings that help them to fly. Besides that their bodies are light in weight because they have hollow bones i.e. their bone density is relatively low that makes them lightweight. Their bodies are spindle-shaped which help them fly against air resistance and glide effortlessly with the air current. Some birds have wings which are relatively big and ...

What is Programming? Everything you need to know about programming languages as a beginner.

We generally refer to this as coding or we come across the all different sort of fascinating names like python, ruby, swift, and the list is endless.  what exactly is programming and how is it used? Programming is the process of writing an executable computer program. Computer programs are a set of instructions that are provided to the computer so that it performs a specific task. In simple words, it is a way of telling computers to do things in a specific way. But we all know the fact that computers don't understand human languages so we have developed some languages for serving this purpose they are called programming languages. Some examples of programming languages include Python, R, C, C++, Ruby, C#, etc. Photo by  Jefferson Santos  on  Unsplash Different types of programming languages: Programming languages are highly specific in terms of application. What is INTERNET and How INTERNET works ?

Internet is used by 56.1% of the total worlds population according to a survey conducted in 2019. Approximately 3.2 billion people use the internet according to a survey conducted in 2015, which is significantly growing every day. What is the Internet? The word Internet is formed by two words 'Inter' and 'Network' which means the interconnection of networks. A network is a group of computers linked together to exchange data and to perform complex operations simultaneously. That simply means that when you're connected to the INTERNET you are actually exchanging data i.e. internet allows communication of devices without a need of a direct physical connection from the user end. Using the Internet 99% of data is transmitted using wires and the remaining 1% uses a wireless mode of transmission.   How the Internet works? The Internet is a very large computer network consisting of servers which are used to store data and wires which are used to ...
